busy busy busy

This week has been so rediculously busy. Monday I went to Park City with my Mom and sisters to buy school clothes :) LOVED it. My older sister Megan was in the dressing rooms at JCrew and decided to try on some of the clothes I picked out. So she picks up a shirt and says, "oh this one's cute" and is about to put it on until I tell her that that was the shirt was mine that I was wearing that day that I got like 6 months ago....hahaha. That night we went to a work party for my dad. He works at Doterra as the CFO and is one of the owners. They sell essential oils that heal you. Its pretty sweet. Then we went home and played family games. It was hilarious!
"No, no, no. I'll be ready in 15 minutes. You're fat. Can we go to a Ute game? I failed my test. Shut up."
GOOD TIMES:)
Tuesday I went to tennis and guess what? I made varsity doubles #1. I am pumped. My first game is today, Wednesday, at MV vs. Lehi. We play at 3, so come support! haha. Then after tennis that day I came home and made some freakin cute cards and then went and lifeguarded. After that I went to a cheer pool party! Love those girl:) Hannah, Madi, Amanda, Mckinlee and I then went to power tumbling. Hannah was doing some tricks and pretty much destroyed her back and folded like a taco. But other than that it was great. This morning we had cheer and Amanda came to try out cause we needed a couple more girls for the team!
Anyyyways. My life is great right now:)

Bear Lake

So, this past week has been full of fun adventures!

On Monday my mother and I played my older sister and her husband in tennis, and unfortunately we lost. But it was close!

Then on Tuesday...Me, Josue, and my family went to temple square. While they all did a temple session, me and Josue walked around temple square. We watched the Joseph Smith movie, and the New Testament movie, and then just walked around the visitors center for a while. Then after they were done with their temple session we all went to lunch at 'The Garden'. It was lots of fun. That night I lifeguarded for a Cub Scout shindig and I wasn't planning on getting my clean, straightened hair wet, but the leaders needed me to get something at the bottom of the pool for the boys. I wasn't very happy. But that's okay :) The water was refreshing. haha.

So then on Wednesday..The morning started off with a nice bike ride from my house to Bridal Vale Falls. yeah. 17 LONG miles. But so worth it! After that, Keena and I went to the Sweet Toothfairy to visit Madi and get some sweets :) YUM. They are delicious. I recommend going there! Then me, my mom, my sister and her husband, and Elder Ye (a missionary that served when my dad was a mission president) headed up to Logan. We stayed the night at my grandparents house. OH, they are the most hilarious people you will meet. Me and my brother-in-law had some good laughs at the things old people do. haha :)

Thursday, we all went to my other grandparents house to visit them for a while, and help my grandma with a quilt. It was great to visit with them. In the afternoon, we headed up to Bear Lake, where we have a cabin. Right when we got there we went to a play called 'Who Shot Juanito Bandito' at Pickleville Playhouse and it was HILARIOUS. Such good acting. Haha.

Friday was also a great day. We were able to go horsebackriding, swimming, fourwheeling, and even play some tennis. We also visited with more of the missionaries that served when my dad was a mission president. I just love all of them like siblings! They are my favorite :)

On Saturday, we mostly went boating and then to a craft fair. I jumped half the wake wakeboarding which I was pretty happy with :) I LOVE wakeboarding. So much. Later that night we went to another play at Pickleville Playhouse called, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolored Dream Coat. It was also really good!

Sunday consisted of fasting, church, food, and driving home :)

Overall, a great week!View from my Cabin :)

Horseback Riding! So fun.

The joys of Lifeguarding

Okay, so I always love reading other peoples blogs so I am starting my own blog.

Update on the week:

Monday-Friday
This whole week I have been life guarding at the Cherry Village pool, in our neighborhood. It is surrounded by houses full of children that get the joy of swimming for 2 hours a day while I, the lifeguard, watch them. Some peopl may say that lifeguarding in boring, and I am just confirming that. Haha. It is probably one of the most boring jobs ever. However, it is super important because I am there in cas someone starts to drown or needs a bandaid:) Although it can be boring, a lot of interesting things happen...This last week I had to deal with a little boy that pooed on the floor in the boys bathroom. GROSS right?! yeah. It was. So I usually dont go into the bathroom during lifeguarding time because I am watching the children, obviously. But the water was FREEZING. So I was looking for a thermometer to check the temperature, and we keep a lot of the pool supplies/lifeguard supplies in the bathrooms. So I go in there real fast and checked to see if they forgot to flush or something, and I see absoluting nothing in the toilet...yet the smell seemed to get worse as seconds passed. I lookall around the bathroom and low an behold I see a pile of poo on the floor. Right next to the toilet. Um, yeah..How do you just miss...? I don't know. So I pull the little boy out of the pool and ask him if it was him who had the accident. And of course, he lies to me. Haha. I know he was lying because he was the only one to use the bathroom that day, and the poo was fresh. EW. So I tell him to go home and get me some paper towels so I can clean it up. Luckily his mom comes out wondering why I needed the paper towels and she see's the mess, and cleans it up. You have no idea how GRATEFUL I was for this Mom. :) Anyways, here are a few pictures of the girlies at the pool and such. Yep, they are adorable.

Thats all for now.
